The original location of the steering rack on the Subaru BRZ, which is equipped with a boxer engine, is not very suitable for drifting. To address this issue, the steering rack has been relocated from under the front cross-member, allowing for the use of various engines, including the boxer, I6/V8, and others. To use the kit, a Lexus IS 1st generation (XE10 1998-2005) hydraulic steering rack is required. The kit includes the steering rack attachment/cross-member insert and cross-member supports, but a modification of the cross-member through DIY cutting and welding is necessary.
