HOMOLOGATION FOR ITV

All Cobra Sport escapes are manufactured to maintain acceptable levels of noise emissions and can be used in many countries in the world, but in some countries with more restrictive standards such as Spain there could be problems with some ITV stations.

The Cobra escapes are not homologated for their road driving in Spain, so our company sells this product line as an item for use OFF ROAD (pista or circuit closed to public traffic).

Catalyzer suppressors never pass ITV, whatever the brand, are only for use OFF ROAD.

It has been observed that the 80-90% of Cobra escapes pass the ITV because they pass the gas and noise emission tests, but we cannot guarantee that the ITV inspection pass by administrative aspects, the inspector can claim that it is a non-original piece and refuse to give the inspection as favorable.

If you want to change the escape of your car to use it by the public road, we strongly recommend that you consult at your usual ITV station to check if they will allow you to pass the inspection with this accessory, each ITV station is a world.
