The RC5+ compound is the newest used by Carbone Lorraine and is specially indicated for small-weight compact sports cars that circulate by road with a street sports driving and competition sports driving in conditions of not much adherence, (lower, stone, land, street tires etc.)
Indicated for use with street tires in circuit tandas and short-term track days with a moderate level of demand.
They have a high thermal coefficient and their performance is better at high temperatures, but their efficiency window is also effective in cold brakes.
They are compatible with original discs, have a moderate friction coefficient of 0.40μ, and have a low sound level.
BY RC6
The Compound Carbone Lorraine RC6 represents a step further with respect to the RC5, its bite is superior and represents the final pill for the track days.
Indicated for use in track days with more powerful cars and in higher adherence conditions (with slicks and semi-slicsd soft rubber, dry track, abrasive circuit track etc.)
In some cases the RC6 can be slightly noisy because of its very high performance characteristics, its friction coefficient and its bite power, which turns them into track days pills by excellence.

The Carbone Lorraine RC8 compound is the most aggressive of all with a by 0.60m It is used in special competitions such as Nascar, WRC, WTTC, GTs, V8 Supercars etc.
It is only advised to use it with slick adherent soft tyres, the use with conventional commercial tyres is disadvantaged, it can cause the blocking of wheels and the appearance of planes on the rubber.
