The FIA Motorsport Series is indicated for all those vehicles that, taking part in competitions under FIA regulations, must meet the requirements required in Annex J to the FIA
Within the AST Motorsport cages, we can find 3 variants, Bolt in, Weld in, or Multipoints
The cage BALL IN they are 6 points structures already welded with each other, so that the customer introduces them in the car without having to do subsequent welding operations.By default, they are served in 2 semiarks, front arc and back arc, they are sent to destination in a palet by truck in transport.
The cage THE WORLD IN they are 6 points structures and are provided as a kit of loose bars so that the customer can weld them in a specialized AST workshop.
The multi-point cages are more complex, they are 8-point structures that usually have prolongations to the front torrents of the vehicle, they are for FIA-superior competitions in which more complex structures are needed with a greater protection and a more considerable and compact chassis reinforcement together.
Multipoints in the world
There are 5 variants designs from the most basic multi-point version (Variant V1) to the most complex multi-point version (Variant V5) that includes more comprehensive and complex reinforcements.
Multipoint structure, it serves as a kit with the loose bars to weld.Simple side bars, cross in rear arc, double bar for anchor arneses, rear side reinforcements and subjections in front and rear torrents
It is also necessary to weld reinforcement plates to the chassis and then turn the structure to such plates.
The transport of the WELD IN cages is cheaper than the BOLT IN cages because they occupy less volume, but the car user must make them welded in a professional welding workshop. The responsible del work of welding lies on the operarian soldier.
It is essential to make a perfect welding to ensure the structure's resistance and its protection to the occupants, if you're not sure that it's going to be done correctly it's more advisable to choose a BOLT IN option.
Taking the basic version V1 to the difference that 2 crosses in X are incorporated on the doors and a longitudinal bar on the roof.
Basic version V1 there are two crosses in X on the doorA pillars, a cross on the main arc and another cross on the back arc
Basic version V1 there are two crosses in X on the door, a boost cross on the roof, a cross on the main arc, another cross on the rear arc, slopper boost and front boost A pillar.
Basic version V1 there are two crosses in X on the door, a cross of reinforcement on the roof, a cross on the main arc, another cross on the back arc, slider reinforcement, front reinforcements A pillar and a bar the lower back.
MINIMUM REQUIREABLE CONFIGURATIONS ACCORDING TO FIA
Here we attach a table so that you know the minimum FIA configuration you will need according to your car model and according to your FIA homologation sheet

Important notes about the assembly
The interior of the vehicle must be completely washed, it is recommended that the installation be carried out by expert staff, as well as the welding of reinforcement plates in the chassis
Structures are scaned and manufactured on chassis units in perfect state, if the vehicle on which the structures are going to be installed has suffered strikes or deformations, the arcs may not fit perfectly and have to adapt a little to the chassis deformation. In this case, the manufacturer is not responsible for the chassis that may be deformed by blow or wear.
