Origin intercoolers for turbo engines are designed for serial cars without making modifications.
Any mapping of the centralite and/or modification to increase the power translates into an increase in the temperature in the admission air that enters the combustion chambers, the more hot the air enters the more loss of pointing we will have.
This is why it is important to keep the admission air as cold as possible to have the maximum power gain.
When making any modification in the engine to enhance the origin intercooler will be short, so it is advised to mount an intercooler of greater capacity

The 2.5′′ big boost pipe kit is a must for a remapped RS, everything you need is included in the kit.
The Features:
Hot side (turbo to intercooler) is made from 2.5′′ light-weight alloy and connected with Pro Hoses 5 ply silicone hose joiners.
Available in Pro-Series Black or Motorsport Silver pipework

Our 2.5′′ hard pipe upgrade removes Ford’s 2.0′′ restrictive boost pipes and can see ‘bolt on power’.
This kit is designed for BIG BHP / Remapped Focus RS’s.All pipes have swaged ends to stop the pipes blowing off on higher power cars.
