Function of embrague
The main function of the embrace is to connect – embrace – and disconnect – the movement generated from the engine with the speed box and the rest of the transmission in vehicles with manual box.
The action is performed by the pedal on the left side.When the pedal is released, i.e. without stepping, the spin movement is transmitted entirely – if the vehicle is not moving is because the box is in neutral – and we say it is embraced; when we press the pedal to the bottom and it is fully actioned, then the desacople is complete and interrupts the movement, we say it is embraced.
At the point where by releasing the pedal the movement begins to be transmitted - point of retention or contact - a patination occurs in the mechanism that favors a soft and progressive start; then by releasing the pedal completely, the transmission movement becomes solidary to that of the engine, practically without mechanical losses or by roasting.
Use of embrague
Every experienced driver knows how to use the embrace in normal conditions to start a stopped car, to change marches and to maneuver in parking situations, change of sense etc
Every driver who starts in the world of sports driving in circuit tandas, track, drift knows that (and if you won’t soon realize) that the embrace that is mounted from origin in your vehicle meets what is necessary for its normal everyday use, but in conditions of high mechanical demand is when the embrace most works.
There are situations in which the embrace suffers fatigue by mechanical stress, usually occurs by intense and continued use, and usually deteriorates prematurely due to two causes:
The driver has a bad habitsometimes it is because the driver uses too much the embrace when parking (a clear burned odor is appreciated) or sometimes it is because he drives with a foot supported on the embrace pedal, thus slightly pressing this and causing the embrace press not to do all the tension it should, causing a premature wear of the disk friction forums.

Classes of Embrace
There are several classes of embrace but basically there are three types taking into account the compound used in the friction furnace.
Organic embraces, cerametal embraces and carbon embraces
The first is used for normal daily use while the second is used for sports applications.
Carbon embraces are used for high-power cars and in highly demanding high-level sports competitions.

How to Choose My Embrace Right
In order to correctly choose an embrace, it is necessary to know the enhancement we have made or we will do to our car.

If the strength will be greater than a 30/40% then it is advised to use ceramethal compounds, but keep in mind that the ceramethal compound is much more aggressive than the organic and the melting coefficient is very higher and the melting is also, the usual driving by the street can become a bit uncomfortable since the maneuver can become sudden.
In this case, if you choose to mount ceramethal compounds for a daily use car, it is advised to mount a disk with mole and that it has 4 asps instead of 6 so that the car does not become very aggressive in maneuver and in daily driving
The other 6 aspas configurations are recommended for potences greater than 60/70% and multi-carbon disc embraces are recommended for potences close to 100% or more and generally for cars with power greater than 600 cv.

The Street Rigid
The Disc Street Rigid are indicated for a Racing use, it is the most racing street organic disk just before the cerametal compounds.
Less weight, faster changes, more direct power transmission.
It provides a greater driving feeling.
By not carrying mole, it is possible that the appearance and/or amplification of noise from the change may be prompted.Possible acceleration of waste.

ACT Racing Spring Centered
The Disc Racing Spring Centered combines the performance of a racing embrace with the original mole disk design for a less brush assembly, and thus reduces the wear of the stripes by a high torque.
More soft walking changes due to the reduction of torsional vibrations.
Recommended for cars with moderate to high power.
Choose 6 pills for a better thermal capacity and a better assembly in walking changes. Recommended for use racing on circuits but in which the car has to move through the street.
Choose 4 pills for faster and more direct walking changes.Not recommended for use on the street, only use racing on circuits.
ACT Racing Rigid Hub
The Racing Rigid Hub discs lack amortisers, so the exchange operations will be faster and more direct.
Less weight and greater rigidity.
Choose 6 pills for a better thermal capacity and a better assembly in walking changes. Recommended for use racing on circuits but in which the car has to move through the street.

The Sintered Iron
Racing Sintered Iron discs are synthetized metal discs that are used for special changes in sequential exchange boxes or cars with transmissions for Drag Race.

The ACT Sport
ACT presses generally possess a special diaphragm design to increase the pressure of the disk against the press and the wheel, maximizing the contact, the ransmission of the torque and minimizing friction waste.
All diaphragms have a special thermal treatment in 4 phases that guarantees the tension of them for thousands of kilometers.

In some applications, the cover and pressure molds are reinforced to ensure a pedal touch and/or to prevent any premature mold break.

ACT Heavy Duty press is the most popular among most ACT applications, represents over 80% of the ACT press application catalog and is recommended for sport use.

ACT Maxx Xtreme printers are the hardest and are used for applications where a very high power and turning transmission is required, usually for applications greater than 700-800 cv

Extremely hard pedal.
Important note :
The original inertia wheels are praised and imbalanced with the use and passage of time.It is highly recommended to change the inertia wheel or at least bring it to balance.
The embrace kits mounted with old wheels lack guarantee regarding the appearance of vibrations.
