1 - Total versatility
The MonoSport kit is a suspension indicated for all those users who want a fully versatile and versatile suspension, to use both on the street and to enter circuit batches. 2 - Monotube architecture system
The monotube system is much more effective than the two-tube system, allowing a greater accommodation of gas and hydraulics, both elements are separated by a double floating piston that avoids the phenomenon of cavitation (bubbles) around the valves at high working temperatures.
3 - Height adjustment regardless of spring preload
Tein's height adjustment system allows the height of the body to be adjusted independently of the spring preload, some brands of suspensions allow the height adjustment only by the seat of the spring, causing a cut in the work stroke of the shock absorber, thus This way appears the "rebound effect" so characteristic and uncomfortable of low cost suspensions. With the Monopro this effect is suppressed since lowering the height preserves the work stroke of the shock absorber.
4 - New patented Tein monotube inverted triple tube system
Tein is the first manufacturer in the world to patent the use of a triple tube for inverted monotube systems. 5 -16 levels of ADVANCE M.S.V hardness adjustment
The MonoSport system has 16 levels of hardness adjustment in combined compression/extension and as a novelty with respect to its predecessor Monoflex series, it incorporates a new valve subsystem made up of 2 mechanisms called Advance M.S.V.
The Advance Needle mechanism to increase the damping force range and the M.S.V. (Micro Valve System) to soften damping forces at low speeds.
As a consequence, we have a self-adaptive semi-intelligent suspension that adjusts to the conditions of use in each circumstance, improving precision steering response, better car dynamics and better traction.
6 - Compatible with the EDFC system
The Monosport system is compatible to adapt the EDFC Active and EDFC Active Pro electronic control units, it can be purchased separately in the future and easily mounted to convert your suspension into an active and self-governing suspension electronically in real time through triaxial G-force sensors.
With the incorporation of the EDFC system come 4 actuator motors that are installed in the upper part of the axes and transform the adjustment scale of 16 positions into 32 and 64 adjustment positions.
7 - Rigid top cups included (when applicable)
Most vehicle applications come with rigid cups for a simpler and easier assembly, and without having to reuse the original rubber element that is usually worn or deteriorated over the kilometers.
Depending on the characteristics of each car, they can come with uniball ball joints, or with reinforced rubber plates. most models include a drop adjustment system on the front axle (only on models with McPherson type suspension, in some applications with triangular arms this assembly is not possible)
8 - Reliability and long life
Over the years, Tein has developed protections with improved materials that better protect the seals and shafts from harmful external agents, extending the life of the shock absorbers.
The final assembly operations are carried out in a room under hygienic laboratory conditions to avoid the presence of dust and other foreign particles that may remain inside the mechanisms.
8 - Tein ZT patented anti-corrosion treatment
Tein uses an anti-corrosion treatment of its housings patented as ZT (patent no. 4347712), it involves the application of two layers of anti-corrosion powder material after sandblasting and firing in an oven at high temperatures, thereby get incomparable protection to other brands.
9 - Low friction washers
Tein uses new low-friction washers on the spring seats in the Monosport Series to facilitate height adjustment with suspensions already mounted on the car with the tools provided.
10 - Anti-fatigue springs
The springs used by Tein are made of SAE9254 steel (with a torsion resistance of more than 200 kg/mm2) and cold-formed to preserve the characteristics of the steel and preserve them from subsequent fatigue.
11 - High performance synthetic hydraulic
The secret of a good suspension is to use a good hydraulic to avoid premature fatigue and boiling of the same, cheap oils always foam when the shock is heated.
